MuuzBox is built as a progressive web app using React, Firebase, and the Web Audio API. It runs on any modern browser and can be installed to the home screen on both Android and iOS devices. The audio player supports local file playback via the File System Access API, streamed content from our Hetzner CDN at up to 320kbps, and Spotify integration through the Web Playback SDK.
Real-time features — chat, requests, mood tracking — are powered by Firebase Firestore's live data synchronisation, ensuring updates appear instantly across all connected devices.
